Life Changes

A Comfortable Space Where Teens Can Be Themselves
- Connect from a private, familiar space where you feel at ease
- No commute or waiting room — just support that fits into real life
- Secure video sessions and messaging in one easy-to-use platform
- Focus on what’s happening now, not just your history
- Use screen sharing to explore music, videos, artwork, and real-life situations as part of the conversation
Therapy works best when teens feel comfortable being themselves. A familiar environment can make it easier to open up, build trust, and have meaningful conversations.Â

Free Consultation
We will meet online for 15-45 minutes to talk about what is going on and see if I’m the right fit for your teen.
The First Session
We usually start together, then I meet separately with teens and parents to ensure everyone feels seen and heard. We end by identifying goals and planning next steps.
Ongoing Support
Weekly or bi-weekly virtual sessions focused on building skills, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Why some clients choose cash pay for therapy
Some clients choose to pay privately because they want therapy to feel more personal, flexible, and focused on what they actually need rather than what an insurance plan may require.
Why private pay can feel simpler
- More privacy around your care
- Less insurance paperwork
- No waiting on insurance approval
- More flexibility in what you focus on
- A clearer session fee from the start
- Care decisions stay between you and your therapist
Does Dr. Mivshek take insurance
Dr. Mivshek is an out of network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Sessions are self pay. Credit, HSA and FSA cards may be used, and monthly superbills are available for clients who want to submit for possible out of network reimbursement.
Reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan. You can contact your insurance company to ask about out of network mental health benefits.
